Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Manager to join our shipping and logistics team. This role is focused on identifying new business opportunities, cultivating partnerships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage new and existing customers to expand the customer base.
- Conduct weekly sales calls with existing and prospective clients and provide timely sales reports.
- Drive prospects to highlight opportunities for close monitoring and customer base expansion.
- Monitor and improve client performance through periodic reviews with the Marketing Manager.
- Identify cost-saving measures that enhance revenue through targeted actions.
- Manage sales quotations, agreements, and service requests from clients, ensuring accuracy and timely feedback.
- Collect and analyze market trends and developments, preparing reports on factors that impact the business and shipping environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- A first degree in Transport and Logistics or a related business discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
