Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accounts Officer
1. Billing & Credit Control

Prepare and issue accurate invoices in line with client contracts

Monitor receivables and follow up for timely payments

Implement effective credit policies to reduce financial risk

Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies

Collaborate with medical supply and operations teams to manage billing concerns
2. Accounting & Financial Reporting

Participate in monthly and yearly close processes including accruals

Prepare and analyse Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets

Maintain accurate general ledger entries in compliance with IFRS and Ghanaian standards

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Track cash flow and manage working capital efficiently
3. Taxation & Compliance

Ensure timely filing and payment of VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Tax

Prepare tax schedules and support GRA audits

Maintain full compliance with Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) requirements
