A young man, Elisha, has been accused of murdering his girlfriend, Edima, a nurse, in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. The gruesome act allegedly involved dismembering her body.

The tragic event unfolded around 7:00 am on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024, in a residential house located near Beaulah International Nursery and Primary Schools on Atiku Abubakar Way, Uyo.
Police Confirm Murder Investigation
ASP Timfon John, spokesperson for the Akwa Ibom State Police Command, confirmed the incident. He revealed that Elisha has been arrested and a full investigation is underway. John assured the public that the investigation will “unravel the matter” in the coming days.
