The Ministry of the Interior has announced that recruitment into Ghana’s internal security agencies will officially open from November 15 to December 15, 2025.
The nationwide recruitment exercise will cover the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and the Ghana Immigration Service.
Purpose of the Recruitment
According to the Ministry, the exercise forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen internal security, enhance public safety, and improve service delivery across all national security institutions.
The Ministry encouraged disciplined, patriotic, and service-minded Ghanaian citizens to take advantage of the opportunity and contribute to national peace and stability.
Application Guidelines
Prospective applicants are advised to:

Wait to be contacted, as only shortlisted candidates will be invited for screening, aptitude tests, and background checks.
Ministry Cautions Against Fraud
The Ministry of the Interior also issued a strong warning to applicants not to engage middlemen or pay any fees to individuals claiming to influence recruitment outcomes.
It stressed that no money is charged at any stage of the process — from application to training — and that any person found engaging in fraud will face automatic disqualification and possible prosecution.
Applicants have been further advised that false information or forged documents will lead to immediate rejection and potential legal action.
