The Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (CIHRM), Ghana’s sole legally mandated HR professional body, is seeking a qualified Marketing Officer. This role is pivotal in promoting the institute’s initiatives and enhancing its visibility and outreach.
Key Responsibilities
The Marketing Officer will develop and disseminate innovative marketing materials related to the institute’s membership, certification programs, and professional development offerings. This includes creating engaging content for websites, blogs, whitepapers, and social media platforms. The officer will drive the institute’s branding efforts to strengthen its market presence.
Additionally, the role involves planning and executing outreach programs aimed at educational institutions, corporate entities, and HR firms to boost membership. Collaboration with educational institutions, professional organizations, and corporate bodies to organize seminars, career fairs, and other events is also required.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must hold a university degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of relevant marketing experience is required, with a CIMG Professional qualification being an advantage. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems, is essential. Demonstrated success in creating and executing marketing campaigns that drive engagement and growth is also needed.
Competencies
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to develop marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals. Expertise in digital marketing, SEO strategies, and building customer relationships to achieve results is crucial. Strong skills in preparing and delivering compelling presentations are also required.
