We are seeking a dedicated Loan Officer to join our team in Accra. This role involves overseeing group formation activities, managing loan disbursement and collections, and ensuring compliance with company regulations.
Key Responsibilities
The Loan Officer will manage the formation and oversight of 3 to 4 groups daily, five days a week. This includes collecting weekly cash collaterals and security deposits from organized groups. The officer will prepare and implement a semi-annual loan disbursement plan and ensure loans are disbursed in accordance with company policies. Responsibilities also include collecting weekly loan installments, completing loan application forms, and maintaining accurate records of realizable and realized information.
Additionally, the Loan Officer will develop and apply strategies to minimize overdue loans by improving collection techniques for defaulted or late payments.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should have excellent communication skills and at least 2 years of relevant experience. A minimum qualification of an HND or degree is required.
