Position Overview
Yara Ghana is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations at our Tema Terminal. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse activities, including product inspection, inventory management, and supervising staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify incoming products for quantity, type, and quality, and ensure proper labeling.
- Coordinate product dispatches to customers, adhering to delivery procedures.
- Organize warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct monthly stock takes and prepare reports.
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate data in the system.
- Supervise contracted labor and warehouse clerks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate degree or professional diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Accounting.
- At least 3 years of experience in a multinational environment, with 3-5 years in warehouse management within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Health and safety experience is essential.
- Familiarity with SUN Accounting software is a plus.
