Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing and Communication Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting marketing strategies, managing communication channels, and developing promotional materials. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Create and distribute marketing materials, including newsletters, brochures, flyers, and digital content.
- Manage social media activities, including post development, scheduling, engagement monitoring, and inquiry responses.
- Support the planning and execution of events such as trade shows, conferences, and webinars.
- Represent the organization at outdoor events and shows to promote products and services.
- Conduct research on market trends, competitor activity, and audience demographics.
- Maintain and update marketing databases, contact lists, and media archives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, generating reports as needed.
- Manage the organization’s website, ensuring updates and content are current and handling email inquiries.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and organizing files.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in marketing and communication.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a marketing or communication role is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing software, and content management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret data for decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and eagerness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
