Job Summary
Darda Health Pre-University Ltd is seeking a dynamic Female Lecturer and Personal Assistant (PA) to join our team. This dual role involves teaching students at the pre-tertiary level and assisting the Director of Academics. The primary goal is to motivate and guide students in retaking their weak or failed SHS subjects while introducing them to pre-health degree courses.
Main Duties
- Teach subjects including Mathematics, Integrated Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with a focus on Chemistry and Physics.
- Ability to teach health-related courses such as Anatomy and Physiology, and basic medical and surgical courses.
- Prepare students for the West African Senior High School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE).
- Serve as a personal assistant (PA) to the Director of Academics.
- Conduct student assessments and maintain records.
- Evaluate trainees’ performance through assignments, quizzes, and tests each semester.
- Provide counseling and micro-teaching for students needing additional support.
- Plan and implement remedial curricula for students requiring extra help.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must be a confident, well-presented female with a background in Pure or General Science from Senior High School (SHS).
- A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Human Biology, Physician Assistantship Studies, Pharmacy, or a related life sciences field is required (a master’s degree is advantageous).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- A commitment to working as part of an entrepreneurial team focused on student engagement and success.
- High levels of maturity, confidentiality, and integrity in handling sensitive issues.
