Search Objectives
Fiaseman Rural Bank PLC, located in the Western Region, is looking to engage the services of an external auditor. The selected firm will audit the bank’s financial statements and issue reports annually, adhering to all statutory requirements for a six-year engagement. To qualify, the firm must meet the criteria outlined in Section 138 of the Company Act 2019 (Act 992) and be recognized as a licensed audit firm under the Institute of Chartered Accountants Act 2020 (Act 1058).
The firm must be in good standing with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, at the time of application and throughout the recruitment process. It should have at least 20 years of audit practice experience, including over 18 years of auditing rural banks. Adequate qualified staff must be available to undertake the audit assignments, and the team lead must have at least 15 years of continuous audit experience and be a person of high integrity.
Submission of Proposal
Interested firms should submit proposals including the following:
- CVs of key personnel with specific roles in the audit exercise
- Evidence of similar assignments conducted in the last 15 years, with references
- A technical proposal detailing methodology, work schedules, and quality assurance measures
