Search Objectives
The selected firm will audit the bank’s financial statements and issue annual reports in compliance with statutory requirements for a six-year term. The firm must meet the qualifications outlined in Section 138 of the Companies Act 2019 (Act 992) and be licensed under the Institute of Chartered Accountants Act 2020 (Act 1058). Throughout the recruitment process, the firm must maintain good standing with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. Additionally, the firm should have at least 20 years of audit practice experience, including over 18 years auditing rural banks. A sufficient number of qualified staff is required to handle audit assignments, with the team lead having at least 15 years of continuous audit experience and a reputation for high integrity.
Submission of Proposal
Interested firms should include the following in their proposal:
- Curriculum vitae (CVs) of key personnel with specified roles.
- Evidence of similar assignments conducted in the past 15 years, including references.
- A technical proposal detailing methodology, work schedules, and verifiable quality assurance measures.
