Role Overview

The Technical Manager position offers an opportunity to enhance skills within the QATech business unit and positively impact Koa’s value chain. This role involves supporting technical activities to ensure operational efficiency through daily maintenance and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain machinery, equipment, and infrastructure in optimal conditions for safe operation.
  • Monitor and manage the use of basic resources such as electricity, water, and fuel during daily production activities.
  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure product quality and support timely operations.
  • Conduct maintenance activities, repairs, and improvements as approved by management.
  • Support projects for new technical integrations and improve energy systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the technical and maintenance department and new projects.
  • Train operators to ensure proper equipment and machinery operation.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement activities, including reducing environmental impact and process automation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of five years of experience in technical servicing, electrical or mechanical fields, preferably in a food production company.
  • Expertise in project coordination and execution in repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of operations and preventive maintenance philosophy, production and maintenance, and process engineering.
  • Experience with process design, system engineering, and the use of computer programs for process simulation packages.
  • International work experience in a similar field is an advantage.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Leadership qualities with decision-making and analytical capabilities.
  • Program and project management proficiency.
  • Technical software application skills.
  • Ability to develop technical documents and reports.
