Acorns to Oaks School, a reputable Christian International School, is dedicated to providing quality education to young learners. We are currently seeking passionate and committed individuals to fill various teaching positions.
1. Class Teachers
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary classroom teacher, delivering instruction in all subjects except French, Computing, and Ghanaian Language.
- Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Cultivate a positive classroom environment that supports academic growth, character development, and social-emotional well-being.
- Regularly communicate with the department head to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
2. Nursery and Kindergarten Teachers
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons for nursery and kindergarten students.
- Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning experiences.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and creativity.
- Develop engaging lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
3. Teaching Assistant (Preschool)
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in executing daily activities and routines for preschool-aged children.
- Provide individualized support to help students succeed both academically and socially.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and outdoor activities.
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Basic Education, Early Childhood, or a relevant subject area.
- Familiarity with the New Standard-Based Curriculum.
- Previous teaching experience is required.
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for working with young children.
