Job Summary:
Darda Health Pre-University Ltd is seeking a qualified female candidate to fill the dual role of Lecturer and Personal Assistant (PA) to the Director of Academics. This position involves teaching pre-tertiary students, particularly those preparing to retake their weak or failed SHS subjects, while also introducing them to pre-health degree subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct students in subjects such as Mathematics, Integrated Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with a focus on Chemistry and Physics.
- Teach health-related courses, including Anatomy, Physiology, and basic medical and surgical courses.
- Prepare students for the West African Senior High School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE).
- Serve as the Personal Assistant (PA) to the Director of Academics.
- Assess student performance and maintain records.
- Evaluate trainees through assignments, quizzes, and tests at the end of each semester.
- Provide counseling and organize micro-teaching sessions for weaker students.
- Plan remedial curricula activities for referred trainees.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A bold and confident female with a background in Pure or General Science from SHS.
- A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Human Biology, Physician Assistantship Studies, Pharmacy, or a related life sciences field (a Master’s degree is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Commitment to working as part of an entrepreneurial team focused on student success and well-being.
- High maturity, confidentiality, and integrity in handling sensitive matters.
Location: Kasoa, Accra (Applicants should reside near the location).
