A leading agricultural company in Ghana is seeking a dedicated Farm Supervisor to support operations on its large-scale farms. The company focuses on producing high-quality, healthy foods while promoting soil health, biodiversity, and positive community impact.
The role involves coordinating and developing farm workers for various tasks, including tillage, planting, cultivating, fertilizing, and harvesting across over 1,000 acres of mango, maize, and animal farms. The Farm Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and providing necessary training.

Reports to: Farm Manager
Location: On-site
Schedule: Monday to Friday (weekends as needed)
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture.
- Over 3 years of farm experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in supervising large-scale farming operations.
Competencies and Requirements
- A valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to relocate.
- In-depth knowledge of crop life cycles, particularly mango and maize.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Enthusiastic about learning and experimenting with new practices and technologies.
- Ability to make decisions in complex and shifting environments.
- Willingness to work additional hours during harvest seasons.
- High level of confidentiality.
- Clear and effective communication with staff to ensure project completion to specifications.
- Commitment to sustainability, including recommending energy-saving and water conservation practices.
- Ability to maintain crop and soil health, create planting schedules, and ensure a safe and inclusive work environment.
- Proficiency in crop planning, field maintenance, pest management, and irrigation system upkeep.
- Concern for employee health and safety, with a focus on developing and maintaining safety plans for farm workers.
