Receptionist Position: Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

Main Duties:

This role contributes to the Covenant of Mayors in Sub-Saharan Africa (CoM SSA) project, supporting cities in developing climate-smart urban infrastructure and accessing climate finance.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and institutionalise SEACAPs and gender-sensitive strategies

Integrate climate considerations into local governance frameworks

Provide technical support for infrastructure project preparation

Design and deliver training for urban actors in climate planning

Facilitate partnerships with development finance institutions

Support MRV systems and manage project reporting

Coordinate with municipal authorities and regional stakeholders
Required Qualifications:

Master’s in Urban Planning, Climate Policy, or similar fields

5+ years’ experience in climate adaptation and urban development

Proven knowledge of sustainable infrastructure, climate risk tools, and GIS

Experience with climate finance mobilisation and feasibility assessments

Strong stakeholder engagement and capacity-building expertise
