1. Director of Finance – Korle Bu Teaching Hospital
Job Summary:
The Director of Finance will oversee the financial operations of KBTH, including resource mobilization, budgeting, financial reporting, and policy implementation to ensure efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial policies and internal control systems.

Lead budget preparation and financial reporting.

Review and strengthen revenue generation and cost-saving strategies.

Ensure compliance with Financial Administration Regulations (FAA/FAR).

Support sub-BMCs with financial responsibilities and performance monitoring.

Provide financial insight for decision-making and procurement plans.
Qualification and Experience Required:

A postgraduate qualification in Finance/Accounting and a professional certification (CIMA/ICA/ACCA/CPA).

Minimum of 15 years’ experience in accounting with 8+ years post-qualification as a Chartered Accountant.

Experience in hospital financial management, project financing, and quality assurance.

Advanced computer literacy and supervisory expertise.
2. Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services – Korle Bu Teaching Hospital
Job Summary:
The Director will provide leadership and technical direction for nursing and midwifery staff, ensuring high standards, effective policies, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise on nursing/midwifery matters and quality assurance.

Develop and monitor nursing policies, protocols, and performance indicators.

Coordinate training and development of nursing staff.

Oversee strategic planning, research, and inter-agency collaboration.

Manage performance review, budgeting, and staff capacity building.
Qualification and Experience Required:

Registered General Nurse or Midwife with postgraduate qualifications.

Varied experience pathways accepted:

At least 3 years at Deputy Director or Chief Nursing Officer level, or

8–15+ years in nursing leadership roles depending on qualification.

Must be in good standing with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.
