As a Technical Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for driving customer satisfaction and boosting parts and service sales through effective client engagement and technical guidance.
Key Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Engineer

Promote and sell company parts and service offerings to fleet operators and plant owners.

Maintain regular contact with clients of all sizes to assess and meet their technical needs.

Liaise with sector managers to stay updated on service offerings and ongoing work.

Collaborate with the operations department to manage inventory awareness and new product launches.

Report lost sales and assist in marketing program development.

Conduct undercarriage inspections and support inventory forecasting.

Manage sales records, collections, invoicing, and payment tracking.

Continuously update technical knowledge and improve customer support quality.
Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (any discipline).

Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar technical sales role.

Specific expertise in ASTEC products (TELSMITH/BTI/OSBORN), Metso, SIMEM, or TELESTACK is an added advantage.
