Key Responsibilities of the Waiter/Waitress Role

Warmly greet and seat customers as they arrive.

Accurately take customer orders, including special requests.

Provide menu guidance and suggest food and wine pairings.

Enter orders using the POS system and liaise with kitchen staff.

Ensure timely service and customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

Upsell menu items to enhance the customer’s order.

Handle complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.

Present and process meal bills, cash, and card payments.

Maintain a tidy and organised table setting.

Prepare takeaway meals and reset tables for the next guests.
Qualifications and Experience Required

Education: HND or Degree in Hospitality Management or related fields.

Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role.

Availability: Flexible with work schedules, including evenings and weekends.
